About the Director
Kinsey Brimhall, T.C.R.G. was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and began dancing at the age of 6. She immediately fell in love with the sport and went on to compete regionally, nationally and internationally from ages 7 to 22.
Over the course of her competitive career, Kinsey became a 10-time World Championship qualifier and 4-time World medal holder. She was the 2012 Western US Regional Champion and placed as high as 3rd at the North American Championships, 4th at both the All-Scotland and All-Ireland Championships and 10th at the World Championships.
Kinsey passed her teaching exam (T.C.R.G.) in 2014 with honors and in 2017, opened up the Brimhall Academy of Irish Dance to pass on her love for traditional and competitive Irish dance to children and teens across the state of Oregon.
